Single mothers have used this covid19 epidemic challenges to concentrate on farming as the only way to get food for their children. In Bulamagi sub-county single mothers waited for relief food given to families affected by Covid19 but were not considered. As a result they decided to clear their garden as they wait for the season. The executive Director Faith Discipleship Ministries International(FAMI) has encouraged the mothers not to go alone to the garden and leave their children at home. Children should be taught domestic work by their parents including garden work.
